Semburan 8 Kilometer Ke Udara

VIVAnews - Gunung Merapi kembali meletus. Suara gemuruh yang sangat besar terdengar sejak menjelang tengah malam. Gemuruh menggelegar itu membuat panik warga Yogyakarta yang tumpah ruah di jalan-jalan utama seperti Kaliurang, Ring Road Utara dan Gejayan.

Jumat 5 November 2010 dini hari, lalu lintas tiga jalan sangat cukup padat. Kepadatan terlihat terutama oleh sepeda motor, mobil, dan truk.

Mobil truk terlihat turun dari kawasan Kaliurang atas menuju Ring Road Utara. Warga yang panik akibat gemuruh keras itu langsung memadati jalan dan berusaha untuk mencari tempat yang aman.

Tidak hanya gemuruh, hujan abu dan kerikil pun dirasakan warga Kota Yogyakarta. Partikel pasir yang berukuran lebih besar itu sangat terasa di tubuh apalagi saat mengendarai sepeda motor. Belum lagi suara partikel pasir yang lebih keras dari abu.

"Hujan kerikil cukup besar ukurannya, bahkan suara gemuruh dan getaran terus menerus. Warga panik dan berhamburan keluar dari rumah," kata Harry Dharmawan warga Sinduhardjo, Ngaglik, Sleman, DIY, kepada VIVAnews.com.

Hal senada disampaikan juga diungkapkan Vika Hastya warga Gejayan. Menurut Vika, seluruh kendaraan bermotor memadati jalan di Ring Road Utara.

"Kami semua ketakutan dan tak berani untuk tidur. Karena suara gemuruh belum juga berhenti," ujar Mahasiswi UGM Fakultas Hukum itu. Jarak pandang terbatas terjadi di jalan-jalan utama Yogyakarta, listrik juga dilaporkan padam di sejumlah titik tengah kota.

"Di Jl Gejayan masyarakat panik. Banyak kendaraan dari arah Utara menuju Selatan, sirine polisi juga sudah dibunyikan," kata Indro Suseno, warga Yogyakarta.

Bola Api Keluar Dari Puncak Merapi

VIVAnews - Setelah suara gemuruh yang tiada henti dan guyuran hujan deras, lereng Merapi kini dihujani krikil.

Batu berukuran kecil itu menghujam seputar lereng Merapi setelah sebelumnya terdengar gemuruh kencang. Hujan krikil terjadi sekitar pukul 00.45 WIB, Jumat 5 November 2010.

Staf Khusus Presiden Bidang Bantuan Sosial dan Bencana Andi Arief mengiformasikan kondisi terakhir di Merapi tersebut lewat akun twitternya.

Informasi yang didapat Andi dari dosen Universitas Gadjah Mada, Arie Sudjito menyebutkan, selain hujan krikil, hujan abu yang sangat deras juga terjadi sampai wilayah Ngaglik. Diinformasikan pula, saat dentuman keras terjadi sempat terlihat bola api merah di pucuk Merapi.

Sementara BPPTK meminta masyarakat tidak panik dan dan terpengaruh dengan isu yang beredar mengatasnamakan instansi tertentu mengenai aktivitas Gunung Merapi dan tetap mengikuti arahan dari pemerintah daerah setempat yang selalu berkoordinasi dengan Pusat Vulkanologi dan Mitigasi Bencana Geologi.

BPPTK juga memastikan  tidak ada aktivitas penduduk di daerah rawan bencana III, khususnya yang bermukim di sekitar alur sungai (ancaman bahaya awanpanas dan lahar) yang berhulu di Gunung Merapi sektor Tenggara, Selatan, Barat Daya, Barat dan Baratlaut dalam jarak 15 km dari puncak Gunung Merapi meliputi, Kali Woro, Kali Gendol, Kali Kuning, Kali Boyong, Kali Bedog, Kali Bebeng, Kali Krasak, dan Kali Senowo.

Zona Bahaya 20 Kilometer
VIVAnews - Aktivitas Gunung Merapi terus meningkat. Kini, radius atau zona aman bagi pengungsi dan warga sekitar diperluas tidak lagi pada titik maksimum 15 kilometer.

"Baru diputuskan radius diperpanjang menjadi 20 kilometer," kata Staf Khusus Presiden Bidang Penanganan Bencana dan Sosial, Andi Arief, dalam keterangan tertulis di akun twitter, Kamis 4 November 2010.

Ini merupakan perluasan kedua radius aman bagi Merapi. Awalnya, Pusat Vulkanologi dan Mitigasi Bencana Geologi (PVMBG) Kementerian ESDM menetapkan area aman mencapai batas 10 kilometer. Selanjutnya diperluas lagi menjadi 15 kilometer karena letusan dan luncuran awan panas yang besar dibanding letusan pertama pada 26 Oktober lalu.

Peningkatan aktivitas Merapi terjadi menjelang tengah malam atau dini hari Jumat 5 November 2010. Peningkatan aktivitas Merapi ditandai dengan adanya suara gemuruh menggelegar yang tidak kunjung berhenti.

Suara gemuruh dan peningkatan aktivitas visual Merapi itu dibenarkan Harry Dharmawan warga Sinduhardjo, Ngaglik, Sleman, DIY, yang berada pada kilometer 7,8 Jalan Kaliurang, DIY.

"Suara gemuruh terdengar sejak beberapa menit sebelum tengah malam. Hingga kini suara gemuruh belum berhenti dan masih terdengar," ujar Harry kepada VIVAnews.com. Menurut Harry, suara gemuruh itu terdengar beruntun setiap sekitar dua menit sekali.

Letusan Besar Merapi Bisa Terjadi
VIVAnews - Aktivitas Gunung Merapi melewati tengah malam semakin meningkat. Radius zona aman diperluas menjadi di luar 20 kilometer. Kondisi ini diduga adanya dorongan magma terdalam yang bisa memicu ledakan dahsyat.

"Ini adalah skenario ketiga yang tidak saya sukai. Ini dapat membuat eksplosif menjadi besar karena yang mendorong sekarang adalah magma paling dalam," kata Kepala Pusat Vulkanologi dan Mitigasi Bencana Geologi (PVMBG) Kementerian ESDM, Doktor Surono, di tvOne, Jumat 5 November 2010 dini hari.

Menurut Surono, akibat dorongan magma terdalam dari gunung yang terletak di perbatasan Jawa Tengah-DIY itu, terjadi getaran secara terus-menerus. Getaran timbul terus meluas.

Maka itu, PVMBG mengeluarkan imbauan agar pengungsi mundur dari titik maksimum batas bahaya 20 kilometer. Ini merupakan perluasan radius bahaya kedua setelah awalnya ditetapkan 10 dan 15 kilometer dari puncak Merapi.

Surono menambahkan, letusan yang terjadi sampai detik ini merupakan rangkaian letusan sejak Rabu 3 November 2010 sekitar pukul 11 siang. "Letusan belum berhenti, getaran semakin kuat. Satu letusan besar bisa terjadi," ujar doktor gunung berapi lulusan Prancis ini.

Gluduk dan Petir Terlihat Di Puncak Merapi
Berdasarkan data terkahir pagi ini (TV One & Metro News) telah ditemukan belasan orang tewas terkena awan panas dan puluhan mengalami luka bakar serius. Semburan awan panas hingga 8 kilometer ke udara. Wilayah Argomulyo, Cangkringan yang semula aman, kini disiram kerikil dan abu vulkanik. Beberapanya terkena dampak awan panas.

Berdasarkan keterangan dari tempointeraktif.co.id dini hari tadi, Gunung Merapi masih mengelegak hebat. Suara gluduk dan petir menyambar terlihat di puncak Merapi.

Sekitar pukul 00.30, WIB dilaporkan dari Desa Kembang Arum, Kecamatan Turi, Sleman, Yogyakarta, warga melihat kilatan dan cahaya dari puncak gunung. Hujan abu menguyur membuat sebagian puncak terlihat pekat.

Warga di sejumlah lokasi di Pakem, terlihat panik. Sejumlah relawan membantu melakukan evakuasi turun ke kota Yogyakarta. Di Jalan Kaliurang, suasana hiruk pikuk, dan banyak warga yang belum mendapatkan angkutan.
