28 Oktober Diperingati Dengan Demo Pemuda

VIVAnews - Kepolisian Daerah Metropolitan Jakarta Raya mengerahkan 4.000 personel untuk mengamankan aksi unjuk rasa dalam rangka peringatan Hari Sumpah Pemuda yang jatuh pada 28 Oktober. Para personel tersebut nantinya akan disiapkan di titik-titik demonstrasi.

"Untuk memberikan pelayanan dan pengamanan kegiatan unjuk rasa dalam rangka menyambut Hari Sumpah Pemuda ini," kata Kepala Bidang Humas Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Boy Rafli Amar, Rabu 27 Oktober 2010.

Sedangkan satuan yang dilibatkan dalam pengamanan unjuk rasa tersebut yakni Satuan Brimob, Satuan Samapta, Satuan Intel dan Satuan Reserse. Pengamanan akan dibantu oleh petugas Satuan Polisi Pamong Praja.

Boy menjelaskan, dalam mengatasi unjuk rasa kali ini, pihaknya akan menerapkan Peraturan Kapolri (Perkap) No 16 Tahun 2006. Selain itu, kata Boy, para pimpinan di lapangan diimbau untuk mengawasi anggotanya agar tidak melakukan penembakan dengan peluru tajam.

"Masing-masing pimpinan untuk lebih mengendalikan anggotanya di lapangan, khususnya kepala pengamanan objeknya," kata Boy.

Ia mengaku, hingga sore ini, sudah terdaftar 3.000 orang yang tergabung dalam berbagai elemen yang akan melakukan aksi unjuk rasa. Adapun elemen yang akan turun ke jalan di antaranya dari Lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat (LSM), mahasiswa dan organisasi buruh. Seperti dari Repdem (Republik Demokrasi, Bendera (Benteng Demokrasi Rakyat) dan BEM (Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa) se-Indonesia.

Rencananya para pengunjuk rasa akan berdemo di depan Kantor Kementerian Pemuda dan Olahraga, di depan Istana Negara, di kawasan DPR/MPR, dan Bundaran Hotel Indonesia.

Pihaknya kembali menegaskan untuk  melarang pengunjuk rasa membawa alat peraga yang dapat mengganggu ketertiban umum, yakni hewan.

Perwira menengah itu, juga mengimbau agar aksi unjuk rasa ini dilakukan dengan tertib dan damai. Bahkan pihaknya berjanji untuk menindak tegas para demonstran yang bertindak anarki.

"Jika brutal dan mengganggu ketertiban umum, pasti kami tindak sesuai aturan yang berlaku," ujar Boy mengakhiri perbincangan.
